ABOUT ME

I began my career in graphic design in 1995, and worked in the industry for over a decade before I became a stay-at-home mom. When the kids began school, I entered the workforce again — boy technology changes in ten years! (The Cloud? What was THAT?) During this time, I began gardening and mostly killing everything I planted. I’m not going to lie — gardening is a LOT of trial and error. Each year my husband would ask me when I was going to give it up, and each year, I would exclaim, “This is the year it’s going to be BIG”! I would go on to kill more plants, but fewer and fewer each growing season. Eventually, my hobby became a passion (read: obsession), and I was hooked. I decided that if I was going to do it, I was going to do it all the way! I became a student. Today, I have a beautiful garden enclosure with eight raised beds and an abundance of beautiful vegetables that my family, friends, and neighbors get to enjoy. I want to share what I’ve learned with YOU, so that you can also enjoy what I have pursued passionately.
